Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G has launched in India at Rs 16,699, bringing 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 120Hz display and a 6,000mAh battery to the mid-range smartphone segment.
The new handset joins Lava’s Shark 2 family, which already includes the Shark 2 4G and Shark 2 5G. It will be available through multiple sales channels in India.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,699 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It is offered in two colour options, Akash Blue and Nanda Silver.
Lava is also offering free doorstep phone service to customers across India, adding an after-sales support option for buyers.
Display and Performance
The phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD touchscreen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The display is designed to offer smoother scrolling and navigation compared with standard 60Hz panels.
Powering the device is an octa-core UNISOC T8200 processor.
The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and is promised two OS upgrades along with two years of security updates.
Camera and Battery Features
The Lava Shark 2 Pro 5G comes with a single 50MP AI camera on the rear and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
The handset also supports dual-view video recording, allowing users to capture footage using the front and rear cameras.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the smartphone, with support for 18W fast charging. Charging and data transfer are handled through a USB Type-C port.
Other Features
The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The handset uses an LCD panel and is positioned as an affordable 5G smartphone.
