Gas Cylinder Price Update
Starting June 1, 2024, the price of gas cylinders will see adjustments as oil companies revise rates.
At 6 am on the first day of each month, new prices are announced. This upcoming June 1st will witness the determination of prices for both 14 kg domestic and 19 kg commercial cylinders.
Aadhaar Card Update Deadline
The UIDAI has announced a deadline for Aadhaar card updates. Until June 14th, individuals can update their Aadhaar cards free of charge.
After this date, a fee of Rs 50 will apply for offline updates conducted at Aadhaar centers.
Driving License Procedure Simplified
Effective June 1st, obtaining a driving license will be streamlined. No longer will individuals need to visit the RTO.
Instead, driving licenses can be acquired through authorized driving schools, eliminating the need for a test at the RTO.
Strict Penalties for Minor Drivers
Beginning June 1st, stringent penalties will be enforced for minors caught driving vehicles.
Those under 18 years of age caught behind the wheel will face fines of up to Rs 25,000.
This measure aims to curb road accidents and promote safer driving practices.
