Google Birthday 2026 is being marked on September 27, with a special doodle and limited-time offers on Google’s latest devices. The company is celebrating 28 years since its founding in 1998.
The birthday celebration is also bringing discounts across the Google Pixel 11 series and other Google-made devices. The Google Store’s birthday sale is scheduled to run until September 30.
Google Birthday 2026 Doodle Marks 28 Year
The Google birthday doodle features a nostalgic take on the company’s earlier branding, with the familiar Google logo presented in a three-dimensional style. The doodle is appearing in several countries, including India.
Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
The company’s first doodle was created as a simple out-of-office message for the founders while they attended the Burning Man festival.
Over the years, Google expanded from its search engine into services including Google News, Gmail, Google Maps and Chrome. Google later became the main subsidiary of Alphabet in 2015.
Google Pixel 11 Gets Birthday Offers
The birthday promotion includes the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, along with other Google devices.
For the Pixel 11, Google is offering up to ₹16,000 in savings through a combination of instant cashback and exchange benefits.
Eligible credit-card users can get ₹7,000 instant cashback, while an exchange bonus of up to ₹9,000 may also be available on eligible devices.
The Pixel 11 is powered by Google’s Tensor G6 processor and comes with a 48MP main camera. Google says the phone can offer more than 30 hours of battery life.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are eligible for savings of up to ₹19,000, including ₹10,000 instant cashback on eligible credit cards and an exchange bonus of up to ₹9,000.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also has savings of up to ₹19,000, with ₹10,000 instant cashback and a possible exchange bonus of up to ₹9,000 for eligible devices.
The birthday offers extend beyond the latest Pixel 11 lineup. The Google Store is also offering discounts on selected Pixel 10 models, Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Buds devices.
Google Birthday Sale Runs Until September 30
Google’s birthday promotion is available for a limited period, with the main Google Store birthday sale running from September 25 to September 30.
Google has also promoted its Tap Party campaign, through which eligible participants could unlock additional rewards and discounts on selected Pixel devices.
The promotion included special discount codes for certain participants, subject to Google’s terms and eligibility conditions.
Customers considering a Pixel purchase during the birthday sale should check the applicable cashback, exchange, EMI and promotional conditions before completing an order, as benefits can vary by device and eligibility.
