BSNL has raised the stakes for private telecom companies like Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea by reducing the prices of three of its plans.
The government-owned telecom provider is now offering more benefits to users with higher internet usage.
This move comes after private companies increased their recharge plans by 15% last month, leading many customers to port their numbers to BSNL.
BSNL made these three plans cheaper
BSNL has cut the rates for its three entry-level broadband plans. Users will now experience higher internet speeds with these plans.
The company has upgraded the speeds to 25Mbps for the plans priced at Rs 249, Rs 299, and Rs 329 per month.
Previously, speeds ranged from 10Mbps to 20Mbps.
You will get these benefits
BSNL’s three broadband plans are based on Fair Usage Policy (FUP). The Rs 249 plan provides 10GB of internet data per month;
after this limit is reached, the speed drops to 2 Mbps.
The Rs 299 plan offers 20GB of data, while the Rs 329 plan provides 1000GB.
Once the data limits are exceeded, the Rs 299 plan offers unlimited data at 4 Mbps, and the Rs 329 plan also provides unlimited data at 4 Mbps.
BSNL’s Rs 249 and Rs 299 plans are available only for new users, while the Rs 329 plan is open to all users.
Besides high-speed internet, these three plans also include the option to call any number.
