ASUS launches 3 New Chromebooks in India

ASUS has launched three new Chromebooks in India at the same time. The new lineup includes the ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable, Chromebook CM14, and Chromebook CM15.

These laptops are aimed at students, online learners, work-from-home users, and people looking for an affordable everyday laptop. All three devices run on ChromeOS and come with Google’s AI-powered features.

The biggest highlight is the Chromebook CM32 Detachable, which can work as both a laptop and a tablet.

Price, Sale Date and Availability

Here are the prices of the new ASUS Chromebooks:

ASUS Chromebook CM14 (CM1405) – ₹26,990

ASUS Chromebook CM15 (CM1505) – ₹28,990

ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable (CM3206) – Starts at ₹37,990

The Chromebook CM32 Detachable is currently available for pre-order. Sales of all three models will begin on June 19.

ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable: Main Highlights

The ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable is the most premium model in the new series.

It is a 2-in-1 device that can be used as a laptop or a tablet whenever needed. Weighing around 640 grams, it is easy to carry and suitable for users who travel frequently.

The device features a 12.1-inch 2.5K touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.

ASUS also includes a magnetic keyboard and stylus support, making it useful for note-taking, drawing, and productivity tasks.

ASUS Chromebook CM14 and CM15 Features

The ASUS Chromebook CM14 comes with a 14-inch Full HD display, while the CM15 offers a larger 15.6-inch screen.

Both laptops are designed to be lightweight and portable. According to ASUS, the CM14 and CM15 can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge.

All three Chromebooks are powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor, which is optimized for ChromeOS and can easily handle web browsing, online classes, video calls, and everyday multitasking.

Google AI Features Included

The new Chromebooks support up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC storage.

ASUS has also added Google’s latest AI tools to the devices. Users can access Gemini AI, NotebookLM, and other Google AI features directly on ChromeOS.

Some variants also come with a Google AI Pro trial and 2TB of cloud storage, giving users extra tools for productivity, learning, and content creation.
