Bharti Airtel, a leading company in the Indian telecom market, increased its recharge plan prices earlier this month.
Additionally, the company has updated the terms for unlimited 5G data. The good news is that the company now offers affordable plans for users who want unlimited 5G data.
These plans start at just Rs 51.
Previously, Airtel users could get unlimited 5G data with recharge plans priced at Rs 239 or higher.
Now, however, the company offers unlimited 5G data only with plans that provide 2GB or more of daily data to 4G users.
This means that users with cheaper plans no longer have access to unlimited 5G data.
New Airtel booster packs come as a relief
If your current plan provides less than 2GB of daily data, you can opt for one of the new booster plans to get unlimited 5G data.
The new booster plans are priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151, offering 3GB, 6GB, and 9GB of additional data, respectively.
The validity of the booster plans matches that of your current active plan.
For instance, if your current plan is valid for 46 more days and you opt for the Rs 51 booster plan, you’ll enjoy unlimited 5G data for those 46 days.
Additionally, 4G users will receive 3GB of extra data for the same duration.
Some important conditions to get 5G data
To access 5G internet, you need a 5G smartphone and Airtel’s 5G services must be available in your area.
Currently, Airtel offers unlimited 5G data with plans that provide 2GB or more of daily data.
If you have a plan with 1GB or 1.5GB of daily data, you can use the new booster plans to gain access to unlimited 5G data.
