Jio 555 Plan offers 1,000GB of additional high-speed internet data for ₹555, giving existing JioFiber and JioAirFiber customers an option to increase their broadband data allowance.

The data voucher is designed for home broadband users who need more internet beyond the monthly limit included in their regular plans.

However, this is not a mobile prepaid recharge plan. It is available to eligible JioHome broadband customers with an active JioFiber or JioAirFiber connection.

Customers also need to pay applicable GST over the advertised price.

The offer is particularly relevant for households that regularly stream videos, download large files, attend online meetings or use multiple internet-connected devices.

Jio 555 Plan Offers 1000GB Additional Data

The ₹555 data voucher provides a total of 1,000GB of additional high-speed data. Customers can use this allowance for their broadband requirements during the validity of their existing base plan.

Once the 1,000GB data allowance is exhausted, the internet speed drops to 64 Kbps.

This means the internet connection does not automatically stop, but browsing and other online activities become considerably slower.

There are no voice-calling benefits included in this voucher. Its primary purpose is to provide additional internet data to existing home broadband subscribers.

Another important condition is that the voucher’s validity is linked to the active base broadband plan. It expires when the underlying plan’s validity ends.

Jio ₹1,555 Plan Provides 3,000GB Data

Customers who need even more internet can consider the ₹1,555 data voucher. It offers 3,000GB of additional data, making it a higher-capacity option for households with heavy internet consumption.

Like the ₹555 voucher, the ₹1,555 option does not include voice-calling benefits. After the available high-speed data is consumed, the internet speed is reduced to 64 Kbps.

Applicable GST is charged separately on this voucher as well. Its validity is also linked to the customer’s active broadband base plan.

The two vouchers therefore serve different data requirements. Customers can compare the additional data allowance and price before selecting an option.

Who Can Use Jio’s 1000GB Data Voucher?

The ₹555 voucher is available to existing JioHome broadband customers across Jio’s service circles, according to the reported plan details.

Both JioFiber and JioAirFiber subscribers can use these additional data vouchers, provided they have an active eligible connection.

This is particularly relevant for JioAirFiber users who may need additional data after exhausting their regular monthly allowance.

JioFiber customers can also use the voucher if their internet consumption exceeds their plan’s included data limit.

Customers should remember that purchasing this voucher does not provide a new broadband connection. An active base plan is required to access the additional data benefits.

What Should Customers Check Before Buying?

Before purchasing the ₹555 or ₹1,555 voucher, customers should check their existing broadband plan and remaining data allowance.

The ₹555 option provides 1,000GB, while the ₹1,555 option provides 3,000GB. Both are additional data vouchers rather than standalone internet subscriptions.

Customers should also consider the validity condition. Since the voucher expires along with the active base plan, purchasing additional data shortly before the base plan expires may reduce the time available to use it.

The final amount will also be higher than the advertised price because GST applies separately.

Eligible customers can check the latest voucher availability and recharge details through Jio’s official website or the MyJio application before making a purchase.
