LPG CNG PNG Prices Today have brought a mixed update for consumers across India on November 2, 2026.

Oil marketing companies have increased commercial LPG cylinder prices by Rs 10 to Rs 17, while CNG rates have also gone up in several cities.

However, households using domestic LPG cylinders and PNG have received some relief as their prices remain largely unchanged.

The latest revision affects hotels, restaurants, commercial establishments, taxi operators, auto-rickshaw drivers and private vehicle owners who depend on these fuels.

The extent of the increase varies depending on the city and gas distribution company.

LPG CNG PNG Prices Today: Commercial Cylinder Rates

The price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders has increased across major cities from November 1. The revised rates applicable on November 2 show different prices depending on the location.

The latest commercial LPG prices are:

Delhi: Rs 2,820 per 19-kg cylinder

Mumbai: Rs 2,775 per 19-kg cylinder

Kolkata: Rs 2,971 per 19-kg cylinder

Chennai: Rs 2,994.50 per 19-kg cylinder

Bengaluru: Rs 2,908 per 19-kg cylinder

The increase ranges from Rs 10 to Rs 17 per cylinder.

Commercial LPG is primarily used by hotels, restaurants, dhabas and other businesses, meaning the latest revision could increase their operating expenses.

International LPG benchmark prices have also influenced the revision.

Saudi Aramco increased its November contract prices for propane and butane, two important components of LPG supplied to Asian markets.

Propane prices increased by $40 to $720 per tonne, while butane prices rose by $50 to $780 per tonne.

Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Remain Unchanged

There is some relief for household consumers as domestic LPG cylinder prices have not changed for November 2026.

The latest prices of 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders in major cities are:

Delhi: Rs 942

Mumbai: Rs 941.50

Kolkata: Rs 968

Chennai: Rs 957.50

These rates remain unchanged despite the increase in commercial LPG prices.

The distinction is important because commercial and domestic LPG cylinders have separate pricing structures.

Therefore, the latest increase in commercial cylinder prices does not automatically mean households will pay more for their regular cooking gas.

CNG Prices Increased in Several Cities

CNG consumers in several parts of the country are also facing higher fuel costs in November.

Different city-gas distribution companies have revised their rates, with increases varying from Re 1 to Rs 4.45 per kg.

In Mumbai and its surrounding areas, Mahanagar Gas Limited has increased CNG prices by Re 1 to Rs 90 per kg.

Green Gas Limited has also revised prices in five Uttar Pradesh cities. The new rates include:

Lucknow: Rs 108 per kg

Agra: Rs 108 per kg

Unnao: Rs 106 per kg

Ayodhya: Rs 106 per kg

Sultanpur: Rs 106 per kg

Unnao recorded an increase of Rs 2.25 per kg, while the other four cities saw an increase of Re 1 per kg.

Adani Total Gas has also revised CNG prices in several locations. In Ahmedabad, the new rate is Rs 98.47 per kg, while Faridabad and other areas of Haryana have a rate of Rs 102.60 per kg.

Jalandhar’s CNG price has increased to Rs 100 per kg.

Other cities have also reported changes:

Bengaluru: Rs 99 per kg

Bharatpur: Rs 99 per kg

Dewas: Rs 99 per kg

Meerut: Rs 96.50 per kg

Sonipat: Rs 99.90 per kg

Firozabad: Rs 99.90 per kg

In comparison, CNG prices remain unchanged in Delhi at Rs 86.98 per kg, Chennai at Rs 99.50 per kg and Rewari at Rs 91.59 per kg.

PNG Prices Remain Stable in Most Cities

Unlike commercial LPG and CNG, piped natural gas (PNG) prices have remained broadly unchanged across Indian cities for November.

The latest PNG rates include:

Delhi: Rs 49.60 per SCM

Mumbai: Rs 52 per SCM

Kolkata: Rs 50 per SCM

Chennai: Rs 52 per SCM

Gurugram: Rs 51.50 per SCM

Noida: Rs 49.46 per SCM

Bengaluru: Rs 53 per SCM

Bhubaneswar: Rs 49 per SCM

Jaipur: Rs 51.50 per SCM

PNG prices are relatively higher in some cities. Chandigarh has a rate of Rs 57.48 per SCM, while Lucknow and Hyderabad have rates of Rs 56.50 and Rs 56 per SCM, respectively.

In Patna, PNG costs Rs 52.50 per SCM, while the rate in Thiruvananthapuram is Rs 51 per SCM.

What the Latest Gas Price Changes Mean for Consumers

The November price revision has created different effects for different categories of consumers.

Hotels, restaurants and other commercial establishments will have to account for higher LPG cylinder costs.

Similarly, people using CNG-powered cars, taxis and auto-rickshaws in affected cities may face increased fuel expenses.

The actual impact will depend on the revised rates in their respective locations and their monthly fuel consumption.

For household consumers, unchanged domestic LPG and PNG prices provide some relief.

However, consumers should check the latest rates announced by their local gas distributors because prices can vary across cities.

Overall, the November 2026 revision has made commercial LPG and CNG costlier in several markets, while domestic LPG and PNG prices have remained largely stable.
