Nothing OS 5.0 Beta has been released for the Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. Based on Android 17, the update brings new customization options, redesigned interface elements, privacy improvements and new sharing features.
Nothing had previously started the beta rollout for the Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (4a) Pro. The latest expansion brings the open beta to more users in the Phone (4a) and Phone (3a) series.
Nothing OS 5.0 Beta Gets New Interface Changes
One of the major changes in the new software is the separation of Quick Settings and notifications. Instead of accessing both through the same area, users can now have separate panels for notifications and quick settings.

How to Install Nothing OS 5.0 Open Beta
Users who want to join the open beta need to have the latest stable Nothing OS version installed on their compatible phone.
They can then install the Nothing Beta Hub V2.0 APK and go to Settings, followed by System and Nothing Beta Hub.
After selecting Check Version and Join Beta, users can proceed with the available update through the Go to Update option.
Since this is an open beta release, users may encounter bugs or other software issues. Nothing recommends backing up important data before installing the beta version.
When Will the Stable Nothing OS 5.0 Update Arrive
The stable Nothing OS 5.0 update is scheduled to arrive in early November for the Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro.
Until the stable version becomes available, users interested in testing the new features can participate in the open beta while keeping in mind that beta software may not offer the same stability as the final release.
