Tata Sierra Legend Series has been launched in India at a starting price of ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing additional comfort, technology and premium cabin features to more variants of the SUV.
The new range is offered alongside the existing Sierra lineup and includes five variants: Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. The existing variants will continue under the Signature Series.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Gets New Features
The entry-level Smart+ L starts at ₹11.99 lakh and adds leatherette seats and cabin trims, steering-mounted controls, auto-folding ORVMs, roof rails and 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers.
The Pure L, priced from ₹13.79 lakh, adds a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an eight-speaker audio system, cruise control, TPMS and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Pure L (O) starts at ₹14.29 lakh and adds a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.
The Pure+ L starts at ₹14.99 lakh. It brings ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat with thigh-support extension, Boss Mode and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Price and Variants
The top Adventure+ L variant starts at ₹16.99 lakh.
It gets features including a 360-degree HD surround-view system, terrain modes, front parking sensors, upgraded displays, a reclining rear seat, ambient lighting, a cooled glovebox and wireless charging.
Across the five variants, prices extend up to ₹19.49 lakh for the diesel automatic version of the Adventure+ L.
The range is available with different petrol and diesel engine and transmission combinations depending on the variant.
The Legend Series retains the Sierra’s three 1.5-litre powertrain options: Revotron petrol, Hyperion turbo-petrol and Kryojet diesel.
Manual and automatic transmissions are available across the range, depending on the variant.
Safety Features Remain Standard
The Sierra Legend Series continues with six airbags, electronic stability programme with more than 20 functions, an electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all four wheels as standard.
The Sierra has also received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for its applicable variants.
The new variants are focused mainly on expanding the availability of comfort and technology features across the Sierra range rather than introducing a new engine family or a separate SUV design.
What Changes for Sierra Buyers
With the Legend Series, buyers now have additional configurations between the existing Signature Series variants.
Tata is continuing both series, giving customers more choices based on the features and powertrain they want.
The Tata Sierra Legend Series therefore expands the SUV’s variant lineup, with prices starting at ₹11.99 lakh and premium features being introduced at progressively higher price points.
