Tata Motors commercial vehicle prices will increase by up to 1% from October 1, 2026, as the company moves to offset higher commodity and other input costs.
The exact increase will vary depending on the model and variant.
Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Price Hike
The upcoming revision will apply across Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle range.
The company announced the decision through a regulatory filing on September 17, stating that the price increase will differ according to the model and variant.
The company has not announced model-wise revised prices yet. Buyers and fleet operators will therefore need to check the applicable price for their selected commercial vehicle once the new rates take effect.
Why Tata Motors Is Raising Prices
Tata Motors has attributed the price revision to the rise in commodity and other input costs. Such costs can affect the manufacturing and operating expenses involved in producing commercial vehicles.
The latest increase comes after another price revision announced earlier in 2026.
Tata Motors had raised commercial vehicle prices by up to 2.5% from July 1, citing similar cost pressures.
New Prices Effective From October 1
The new prices will come into effect on October 1, 2026. Since the increase is capped at 1%, the actual rise will not be identical across the entire commercial vehicle portfolio.
Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle range includes utility vehicles, pick-ups, trucks and buses serving applications ranging from last-mile delivery to public transport.
The company has also raised prices in its passenger vehicle business during September.
Passenger vehicle prices were increased by up to ₹25,000 from September 1, with the revision varying by model and variant.
For commercial vehicle buyers planning a purchase, the October 1 effective date means the price applicable before and after the revision may differ.
The final amount will depend on the vehicle selected and the model-specific increase.
