Vivo has launched its new Vivo Buds true wireless earbuds in India. The company says the launch marks its entry into the IoT segment.
The new earbuds come with features such as up to 50 hours of total battery life, Spatial Audio, AI Call Noise Cancellation and low-latency gaming.
The Vivo Buds are priced at ₹1,999 and went on sale from September 10. They are available through the vivo India e-store, Flipkart and major retail stores.
The earbuds are offered in Nilgiri Green and Basalt Black colour options.
Vivo Buds Battery and Charging Features
The biggest highlight of the Vivo Buds is their battery life. With the charging case, the earbuds offer up to 50 hours of total playback.
A single full charge can provide up to 12 hours of music playback. The company also claims that 10 minutes of quick charging can deliver around 4 hours of music playback.
For calls, a single charge is claimed to provide up to 7 hours of talk time.
Vivo Buds Offer Premium Sound
The Vivo Buds feature a 10mm high-resolution speaker driver. Vivo has used PU and high-rigidity PEEK materials, which are claimed to provide better audio detail and reduce distortion.
Users can choose sound effects such as Mega Bass, Clear Voice and Clear High Pitch. A 10-band customisable EQ is also available, allowing users to adjust the sound according to their preference.
The earbuds also support Spatial Audio with four modes: Theater, Concert Hall, Studio and Live Concert. This feature requires a compatible vivo device.
Vivo Buds Get AI Noise Cancellation
For calls, the Vivo Buds come with Dual-Mic AI Call Noise Cancellation. The company says its AI and deep-learning-based system can identify surrounding noise and help keep the human voice clearer.
The earbuds are claimed to reduce sounds such as vehicle horns and wind noise. A Cross-Flow Duct Design is also included to help reduce wind noise during calls.
Vivo Buds Features and Connectivity
For gaming, the earbuds offer 42ms gaming latency. They support Bluetooth 6.1 and Multipoint Connection, allowing users to connect the earbuds to two devices at the same time.
Each earbud weighs around 3.8 grams and comes with an IP54 rating.
When paired with a compatible vivo phone, the earbuds can work through OriginOS without requiring a third-party app for features such as audio controls, EQ and Spatial Audio.
