BGauss C12 MaxR has been launched in India as the company’s most powerful and highest-range electric scooter. The new model starts at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.46 lakh.
The company has said that this is an introductory price and will increase later. With the PM E-Drive incentive, the price is expected to become ₹1.55 lakh.
BGauss C12 MaxR Offers 178km Range
The C12 MaxR gets a 3.8kWh LFP battery with an IP67 rating. According to the company, the scooter offers an IDC-certified range of 178km.
It uses BGauss’ HyperZen in-wheel motor, which produces 4.2kW of peak power. The scooter has a top speed of more than 75kmph.
The electric scooter comes with Eco, Ride and Sport riding modes. It also gets reverse mode, cruise control and regenerative braking.
New Electric Scooter Gets Connected Features
The BGauss C12 MaxR features a 5-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, call notifications and ride and charging information.
The display also supports user profiles and multiple display themes. Other features include fall detection, USB charging, a side-stand sensor, connected functions, SOS and DigiLocker integration.
C12 MaxR Has Space for Two Helmets
The scooter offers under-seat storage with enough space for two helmets.
It also gets a lockable front compartment along with bottle and mobile holders. An umbrella holder and spacious floorboard are also provided.
The C12 MaxR is available in Champagne Gold with Sparkling Wine, Champagne Gold with Terra Green, Pearl White and Satin Black colour options.
Scooter Gets Disc Brake and 12-Inch Wheels
The BGauss C12 MaxR comes with 12-inch alloy wheels and a 220mm front disc brake with CBS.
At the rear, it gets a five-step adjustable Nitrox gas-charged suspension unit. The scooter has 160mm of ground clearance and a claimed payload capacity of 150kg.
With its range and specifications, the C12 MaxR will compete with electric scooters such as the Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and Ather Rizta.
