Lenovo has launched two new premium Android tablets under its popular Yoga Tab series. The new Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 were introduced at IFA 2026.
Both tablets come with 4K displays, a 144Hz refresh rate, powerful processors, large batteries, and several AI-powered features.
Lenovo is also promising long-term software support, making these tablets suitable for users who plan to keep their devices for several years.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 Gets 11.1-Inch 4K Display
The Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 features an 11.1-inch 4K display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The screen can reach up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness, which should offer a good viewing experience for movies, gaming, and creative work.
For performance, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor.
Buyers can choose between 8GB and 12GB RAM options, along with 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Storage can also be expanded using a microSD card.
The tablet packs a large 11,000mAh battery and supports 68W fast charging. It weighs around 480 grams and is 8.56mm thick.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1.
Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 Offers Bigger Screen and Battery
The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is the more premium model of the two. It comes with a larger 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness.
Lenovo has equipped this tablet with the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform featuring an Oryon CPU. It is available with 12GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage.
The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 also gets a massive 12,700mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
For audio, the tablet comes with six speakers. Its rear camera setup includes 13MP and 2MP sensors, while the front has 8MP and 0.3MP cameras.
AI Features and Stylus Support
Lenovo has designed these tablets for more than just watching videos and playing games. Both models include AI-powered features aimed at improving productivity and creativity.
Users can also use the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro 2 for drawing, writing, and taking notes. A magnetic keyboard is supported as well, making the tablets more useful for work and study.
There is also a status light on the back that can react to music, videos, and gaming content.
Seven Major Android Updates Promised
One of the biggest highlights of the new Yoga Tab series is its long software support.
Both tablets come with Android 17, and Lenovo promises seven major Android OS upgrades along with seven years of security updates.
Based on this promise, the tablets could receive major Android updates up to Android 24, while security support may continue until 2033.
Price and Availability
The Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 starts at $729 (around ₹68,800), while the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 starts at $999 (around ₹94,400).
Both tablets are expected to go on sale starting in September 2026. However, Lenovo has not yet announced official pricing or availability details for the Indian market.
