Poco has launched its new X8 smartphone series in India. The lineup includes two models — the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power.
Both phones come with large batteries, AMOLED displays, fast charging and the latest Android 16-based software.
The biggest attraction is battery capacity. The Poco X8 packs a huge 9,000mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Power takes it even further with a massive 10,000mAh battery.
Both smartphones will go on sale in India from September 11, 2026.
Poco X8 and X8 Power Price in India
The Poco X8 has been launched at ₹29,999, while the Poco X8 Power is priced at ₹35,999.
Buyers can get a ₹2,000 coupon benefit along with an additional ₹1,000 bank offer or exchange bonus.
With these offers, the effective price of the Poco X8 comes down to ₹26,999, while the X8 Power can be purchased for ₹32,999.
Both phones will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart on September 11 at 12 noon.
Poco is also offering a 12-month no-cost EMI option. EMI starts at ₹2,250 per month for the Poco X8 and ₹2,750 per month for the X8 Power.
Massive Batteries With Fast Charging
Battery life is one of the biggest highlights of the new Poco X8 series.
The Poco X8 comes with a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 67W Xiaomi HyperCharge.
The Poco X8 Power gets an even bigger 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery along with faster 100W Xiaomi HyperCharge support.
1.5K AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate
Both smartphones feature a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels.
The screens support up to a 120Hz refresh rate, which should provide smoother scrolling, gaming and video playback.
Both phones also come with stereo dual speakers, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. The Poco X8 offers up to a 300% volume boost, while the X8 Power supports up to a 400% boost.
Snapdragon Processors and Up to 256GB Storage
The Poco X8 is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 mobile platform. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Poco X8 Power gets the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile platform. It features 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster performance.
50MP Cameras on Both Phones
The Poco X8 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens. It is paired with a 2MP depth camera.
For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 16MP front camera. Camera features include Portrait Mode, HDR, Live Moments, Pro Mode and Dual Video.
The Poco X8 Power also comes with a 50MP main camera, but it gets a wider f/1.5 aperture and a 6P lens. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The X8 Power has a 32MP front camera and supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps from both the rear and front cameras.
Strong Protection and Long Software Support
Poco has also focused on durability with its new X8 series. Both phones feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
They also come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against water and dust.
Both smartphones run Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Poco has promised four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates for both devices.
With large batteries, 120Hz AMOLED displays and long software support, the Poco X8 series is aimed at users looking for strong battery life and everyday performance in the mid-range smartphone segment.
