Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi 17 5G smartphone in India. The phone is aimed at users who want a big battery, large display and 5G connectivity for everyday use.
The biggest highlight of the Redmi 17 5G is its massive 7900mAh battery.
Apart from this, the smartphone comes with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor and a 50MP AI camera.

The Redmi 17 5G packs a large 7900mAh battery, which is designed to last longer during everyday activities such as watching videos, gaming, using social media, taking photos and multitasking.
This could make the phone useful for people who use their smartphones heavily and don’t want to charge them frequently.
The smartphone also supports 45W fast charging, which helps recharge the battery quickly. It also comes with wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices using the phone.
Large 6.9-Inch Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate
The Redmi 17 5G features a large 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This should provide smoother scrolling and a better viewing experience while watching videos or playing games.

The Redmi 17 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, which is based on a 4nm process. Its octa-core CPU can reach speeds of up to 2.4GHz.

The Redmi 17 5G is available in two RAM and storage options.
The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant has a NEP of ₹23,999, while its MRP is ₹39,999.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant has a NEP of ₹26,999, while its MRP is ₹41,999.
Xiaomi has introduced the smartphone in three colours: Absolute Black, Endless Blue and Eternal Orange. The models come with a vegan leather finish.
