Planning a spiritual trip to Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Prayagraj? IRCTC has introduced a special 5-night, 6-day rail tour package that covers all three holy cities in one journey.

The package includes train travel, hotel stay, local sightseeing, and AC vehicle transfers, making it a convenient option for devotees.

The tour, called “Ram Mandir Darshan with Kashi Prayagraj Rail Tour,” starts from Howrah and takes travelers to some of North India’s most famous religious destinations.

Places You Will Visit

The first stop is Prayagraj, where travelers will visit the Triveni Sangam, Allahabad Fort, and the Big Hanuman Temple.

In Ayodhya, the tour covers the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan, and the evening Saryu Aarti at Nayaghat.

The journey then continues to Varanasi, where pilgrims will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Vishalakshi Temple, Namo Ghat, Assi Ghat, and Dashashwamedh Ghat.

The package also includes a visit to Sarnath, where travelers can explore the Dhamek Stupa and the Archaeological Museum.

Tour Duration and Train Schedule

The package is for 5 nights and 6 days. The journey begins from Howrah Railway Station on Saturday.

Passengers will travel on Train No. 22912 Shipra Express, which departs Howrah at 5:45 PM and reaches Prayagraj Chheoki at 7:30 AM the next day.

For the return journey, Train No. 22911 Shipra Express leaves DDU Junction at 8:20 PM on Wednesday and reaches Howrah at 6:55 AM on Thursday.

IRCTC Tour Package Price

The package price depends on the type of room selected.

Single sharing: ₹40,500

Double sharing: ₹24,050

Triple sharing: ₹19,900

Child (5–12 years) with bed: ₹21,550

Child (5–12 years) without bed: ₹19,000

Double sharing (4–6 passengers): ₹12,900 per person

Triple sharing (4–6 passengers): ₹11,100 per person

All prices include GST.

Important Things to Know

Train tickets with coach, seat, and berth details will be issued four days before departure.

Since tickets are generated through the centralized railway system, berth changes or preferences will not be accepted.

Hotel check-in will follow the hotel’s standard timings, and early check-in will depend on room availability.

Passengers must carry a valid original ID proof such as a Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport. Children should carry an Aadhaar card, student ID, or birth certificate.

Cancellation Policy

IRCTC has fixed cancellation charges based on the date of cancellation:

Up to 15 days before departure: ₹250 per passenger

8–14 days before departure: 25% of the package cost

4–7 days before departure: 50% of the package cost

Less than 4 days before departure: No refund (100% deduction)
