Planning a trip to Nepal that combines pilgrimage, mountains and sightseeing? IRCTC has a 7-day package that covers some of Nepal’s most popular destinations.
Called “The Divine Nepal With Muktinath”, the package includes Kathmandu, Pokhara, Jomsom and Muktinath Temple. The tour also covers several important temples and tourist attractions.
The 6-night/7-day trip starts from Chennai on August 26, 2026, and ends on September 1.

From Chennai to Kathmandu
The journey begins with a flight from Chennai to Kathmandu on August 26.
After reaching Kathmandu and completing immigration and airport formalities, travellers will be received by an IRCTC representative.
The group will then proceed for lunch before checking into the hotel.
The first night will be spent in Kathmandu.
The next morning, travellers will leave for Pokhara after breakfast.
En route, the itinerary includes a visit to the Manakamana Temple, which can be reached by cable car.
After arriving in Pokhara, the group will check into the hotel and have dinner.
Muktinath Temple Visit Included
One of the main highlights of the package is the visit to Muktinath Temple, a popular pilgrimage destination in Nepal’s Mustang region.
On August 28, the group will travel from Pokhara to Jomsom by road after breakfast.

The following day, travellers will head back towards Pokhara.

Kathmandu Durbar Square
The final day begins with breakfast and hotel check-out.
Travellers will then be taken to Kathmandu airport with a packed lunch for their return journey to Chennai.
The flight is scheduled to leave at 2:05 pm and reach Chennai at around 8:55 pm, according to the itinerary provided.

The package price depends on the type of occupancy.
Single occupancy: ₹81,600 per person
Double occupancy: ₹76,800 per person
Triple occupancy: ₹75,500 per person

Without bed: ₹54,500
The package includes flights, hotel accommodation and meals.
However, travellers should note that infant airfare is not included in the package and has to be paid directly to the airline.
