Motorola has launched its new Moto G Max smartphone in India. The phone is part of the company’s G-series
and comes with a large 7,000mAh battery as its biggest highlight. Motorola claims that the phone can provide up to 63 hours of battery life on a single full charge.
The Moto G Max also comes with a large 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, and a 50MP Sony main camera.
Moto G Max Price in India
The Moto G Max has been launched in India in a single variant. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹27,999.
The smartphone will be available in three colors: Pantone Alaskan Blue, Pantone Malaga, and Pantone Stargazer. It will be sold through Flipkart.
Moto G Max First Sale and Discount Offers
The first sale of the Moto G Max will start on August 20 at 12 noon.
As part of the launch offers, customers can get an instant discount of ₹1,000 when using Axis Bank or ICICI Bank credit cards. Buyers can also get an exchange bonus of up to ₹1,000 on their old smartphone.
With these offers, the effective price of the Moto G Max can be reduced further for eligible buyers.
Moto G Max Display and Performance
The Moto G Max features a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits. It also offers a pixel density of 391ppi.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which helps protect the screen from minor scratches and damage during everyday use.
For performance, the smartphone is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Motorola has also included a RAM Boost feature, which allows some of the phone’s internal storage to be used as virtual RAM.
Software and Camera Features
The Moto G Max runs on Android 16-based Hello UI out of the box. Motorola has promised two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the phone.
For photography, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32MP front camera.

The 7,000mAh battery is one of the biggest features of the Moto G Max. Motorola claims that the phone can offer up to 63 hours of battery life on a single full charge.
The smartphone also supports 30W TurboPower fast charging.
Other Features and Connectivity
The Moto G Max supports Dual-SIM 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It has a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The 3.5mm headphone jack means users who still use wired earphones can continue using them without needing to buy Type-C or wireless earphones.
Water and Dust Protection
The Moto G Max comes with an IP64 rating, which provides protection against dust and water splashes. The phone also meets the MIL-STD-810H durability standard.
For security, Motorola has included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
