Vivo is all set to launch its new Vivo S2 smartphone in India today, August 6, at 12 PM IST.
Ahead of the official launch, the company has already revealed the phone’s key specifications, colour options, and several features.
The Vivo S2 will come with a large AMOLED display, a powerful MediaTek processor, a massive battery, and AI-powered features.
The smartphone will be available through the Vivo India online store and Amazon.
Vivo S2 Specifications
The Vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and an immersive viewing experience.
According to Vivo, the display can reach 3,000 nits peak brightness, has a 449ppi pixel density, and offers a 93.82% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor.
Vivo claims the chipset scores around 9.7 lakh points on AnTuTu, making it capable of handling gaming and everyday tasks with ease.
The phone also packs a 7,050mAh battery, which is expected to deliver long battery life on a single charge.
Camera and AI Features
For photography, the Vivo S2 comes with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring the Sony IMX852 sensor.
On the front, the phone gets a 32MP selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, making the device suitable for content creators and video enthusiasts.
The smartphone also includes symmetrical dual speakers for an improved audio experience.
