Under the ‘IndiGoFree’ offer, eligible passengers can get a refund of their ticket fare of up to ₹10,000 per PNR, making it a great opportunity for those planning domestic travel.

Who Can Avail the IndiGoFree Offer?

The offer is valid on domestic flight bookings made between August 4 and August 6, 2026.

Passengers can book their tickets through IndiGo’s:

How Will Customers Get Free Tickets?

Customers will be selected randomly from all eligible bookings made during the offer period.

Selected passengers will receive an email and WhatsApp message asking them to answer a simple question.

Each customer will get three chances to answer correctly.

If the answer is correct, IndiGo will refund the ticket fare, up to a maximum of ₹10,000 per PNR.

According to the airline, the refund will be credited within three to five business days.

Along with the anniversary celebration, IndiGo has also announced a leadership change.

Willie Walsh has officially taken charge as the airline’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His appointment was announced earlier in March 2026.

The airline said Walsh brings more than 40 years of experience in the global aviation industry and will lead IndiGo’s next phase of growth and international expansion.

IndiGo Reports Q1 FY27 Loss

IndiGo’s parent company, InterGlobe Aviation, reported a net loss of ₹238 crore for the April-June quarter of FY27.

During the same period last year, the company had posted a net profit of ₹2,176.3 crore.

The airline said the decline was mainly due to higher fuel prices, foreign exchange losses, and disruptions caused by the Middle East conflict.

Despite the loss, IndiGo’s total income increased 18.9% year-on-year to ₹25,614.1 crore, showing strong business growth.

During the quarter, the airline carried 3.13 crore passengers, maintained a 99.9% technical dispatch reliability, achieved 86.9% on-time performance across 10 major airports, and recorded a flight cancellation rate of just 0.3%.
