Indian tech company Zoho has introduced a major update for its messaging app, Arattai. The latest update focuses on making chats safer

and more secure by adding Aadhaar Verification, stronger privacy settings, and improved security controls.

With online scams, fake profiles, and identity-based fraud becoming more common, these new features are designed to help users identify genuine accounts and stay protected while chatting.

Aadhaar Verification Now Available

Zoho Arattai now allows users to verify their identity using Aadhaar. This feature is completely optional, so users can choose whether they want to verify their account.

Once the verification is successful, a green verified badge appears on the user’s profile. This makes it easier for others to recognize that the account belongs to a verified person and not a fake profile.

More Control Over Privacy

The update also brings several new privacy features to give users greater control over their accounts.

Users can now decide who is allowed to contact them, who can view their profile information, and whose messages appear directly in their chats.

These settings are aimed at reducing unwanted messages and improving overall privacy.

How to Get the Green Verified Badge

Getting verified on Arattai is simple. Open your profile and tap the “Get Verified” option below your profile photo. Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.

After successful verification, the green verified badge will appear on your profile.

Zoho says Arattai securely checks your details against official records to confirm your identity. Once the verification is complete

and the badge is issued, the identity data used during the process is immediately deleted and is not stored on the company’s servers.
