If you’re waiting for your NEET UG 2026 fee refund, here’s some good news.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has given candidates more time to verify or update their bank account details.

Students can now check, correct, or change their bank information until July 7, 2026, at 11:50 PM.

The extension will help candidates who entered incorrect details earlier or missed the previous deadline.

According to NTA, eligible students should not lose their refund because of a small technical mistake or incorrect bank information.

Refund Portal Is Open Again

The NTA has reopened the refund portal to give candidates one final chance to update their bank account details.

If your account number, IFSC code, or any other banking information is incorrect, you should update it before the deadline.

This will help ensure that your refund is processed without any delays.

Two-Step Verification Is Mandatory

Before updating your bank details, you must log in to the NEET UG registration portal and complete two-factor authentication (2FA).

Only after successful verification will you be allowed to edit your bank account information.

Candidates can also upload a cancelled cheque if required.

This helps NTA verify the bank account and reduces the chances of any issues during the refund process.

Check Every Detail Carefully

NTA has advised candidates to verify all banking information before submitting the form.

Once your details are authenticated and submitted, they will be treated as final. Any mistake in the account number, IFSC code, account holder’s name, or other details could delay your refund.

How to Update Your Bank Details

Follow these simple steps to update your information:

Visit the official NEET UG website.

Click on the “Final Opportunity to Confirm/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund” link.

Log in using your application credentials.

Open the “Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation” section.

Check your bank details carefully and make corrections if needed.

Submit the updated information.

Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates are advised to complete the process well before July 7, 2026, to avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure their fee refund is processed smoothly.
