Delhi farmers whose land was acquired are set to receive a major relief.

The authorities have decided to provide them alternative residential plots, and the process is expected to be completed within the next three months.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has already issued an official notification regarding this decision.

This step comes after recommendations from the Delhi government’s Land and Buildings Department, which has forwarded eligible farmers’ applications to the DDA for further action.

Farmers to Get Alternative Plots Soon

According to BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, this decision fulfills a long-standing demand of farmers in Delhi.

He stated that all farmers whose land was acquired will be given residential plots in exchange.

The Land and Buildings Department has already reviewed applications and sent approved cases to the DDA.

Now, the DDA will complete the allotment process within the next three months.

Document Verification and Next Steps

Farmers have been advised to carefully check their documents.

They should confirm that their applications have been properly approved by the Land and Buildings Department and forwarded to the DDA.

If any documents are incomplete or incorrect, they must be corrected without delay.

Farmers are also encouraged to regularly visit the official DDA website for updates on the process.

Bidhuri also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for approving the initiative.
