JSW MG Motor India has quietly removed the MG Gloster from its official website, indicating that the premium 7-seater SUV may have reached the end of its journey in India.

The model has now been replaced by the newly launched MG Magester.

What makes this development even more interesting is that the Gloster reportedly did not record a single sale in the last five months. To clear the remaining inventory, MG is now offering discounts of up to ₹4 lakh on the SUV.

Massive Discount on Remaining Stock

Customers looking to buy the MG Gloster can currently avail benefits worth up to ₹4 lakh. The offer includes:

Cash discount of ₹3.5 lakh

Exchange bonus of ₹50,000

The SUV was priced between ₹38.33 lakh and ₹42.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, it competed with popular models such as the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.

Company Changes Its Earlier Plan

When MG launched the Magester, the company had stated that the Gloster would continue to be sold alongside the new model. However, the SUV has now been removed from the official website, surprising many customers.

This is not the first time MG has changed course. Earlier, during the launch of the Windsor EV, the company had announced one year of unlimited free public charging for customers taking delivery before January 1, 2025.

The offer attracted significant attention and helped boost interest in the EV. However, the company later withdrew the offer after a short period.

MG Gloster: Engine and Features

The MG Gloster was available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. It featured a premium dark-themed cabin with leatherette seats, red stitching,

The SUV came loaded with premium features such as:

Safety Features Remain a Strong Point
