The fare from Delhi and Noida to Bareilly has been reduced by around ₹1,000. However, airline officials say ticket prices may rise again as more seats get booked closer to the travel date.
Delhi Flights to Begin from July 1
Direct flights between Bareilly and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will start on July 1. The service will operate three days a week — Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The flight from Delhi will depart at 1:35 PM and reach Bareilly at 1:36 PM. On the return journey, the flight will leave Bareilly at 1:00 PM and arrive in Delhi at 1:05 PM.
Flights between Bareilly and Noida’s Jewar International Airport will begin a day later, on July 2.
Noida Flights to Operate Four Days a Week
The Bareilly-Noida service will run four days a week — Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
The flight from Noida will depart at 10:30 AM and land in Bareilly at 11:20 AM. The return flight will leave Bareilly at 12:05 PM and reach Noida at 1:00 PM.
When the flight schedule was first announced, ticket prices were fixed at around ₹4,500.
Ticket Prices Reduced Ahead of Launch
At present, the fare from Bareilly to Delhi or Noida is ₹4,265. However, passengers travelling from Delhi or Noida to Bareilly can now book tickets for ₹3,591, nearly ₹1,000 less than the earlier fare.
The fare reduction is mainly because many people are still unaware that these flights will start soon, resulting in lower bookings at this stage.
Interestingly, bookings from Bareilly to Delhi appear to be stronger, which is why fares on that route have not seen a major reduction. As demand increases and more seats are sold, ticket prices are expected to go up.
Airport Preparing for New Services
Bareilly Airport Director Awadhesh Agarwal said preparations are underway to begin Delhi flights from July 1 and Noida flights from July 2.
He added that airlines adjust ticket prices based on seat bookings and demand. Efforts will also be made to inform more people about the upcoming flight services to Delhi and Noida.
