Motorola is all set to launch the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in India on June 4. Ahead of the official launch, the expected price of the smartphone has surfaced online.
The Edge 70 Pro+ will be the most premium smartphone in the Edge 70 series. After launch, buyers will be able to purchase it through Flipkart, Motorola India’s website, and offline retail stores.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Expected Price in India
According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu), the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to be priced at ₹47,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
While Motorola has not officially confirmed the pricing yet, the leaked information gives a good idea of what buyers can expect.
Premium Display and Powerful Performance
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also support HDR10+ and offer a peak brightness of up to 5200 nits, making it easier to use even in bright sunlight.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor. Motorola says the chipset is designed to handle gaming, multitasking, and AI-powered features efficiently.
The device will come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage for faster performance and app loading speeds.
50MP Triple Camera Setup for Photography Lovers
Motorola is heavily focusing on photography with the Edge 70 Pro+.
The phone will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The telephoto camera will support 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x AI Super Zoom, helping users capture distant subjects with more detail.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will include a 50MP front camera. It will also support autofocus, which can improve photo and video quality, especially for content creators and social media users.
Massive Battery and Premium Build
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will pack a large 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery.
It will support 90W fast charging, along with 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. This means users can not only charge the phone quickly but also use it to charge other compatible devices.
The smartphone will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It is also expected to receive MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability.
Android 16 and Long-Term Software Support
Motorola has also paid special attention to the design of the Edge 70 Pro+.
The phone has been developed in collaboration with Pantone and will be available in premium finishes, including wood-inspired textures, fabric-style designs, and unique color options.
It will run Hello UI based on Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has promised three years of Android OS updates and five years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support for users.
