MG Motor has officially launched the MG Magester 7-seater SUV in India. It is a large SUV that belongs to the D+ segment in terms of design, features, and size.
Bookings for the SUV are now open across India. Customers can book the MG Magester by paying a token amount of ₹41,000. The official price of the SUV will be announced in April 2026.
The company has confirmed that deliveries will start from May 2026.
If reports are accurate, the MG Magester — which competes with the Toyota Fortuner — is expected to be priced slightly higher than the MG Gloster. The expected price range is between ₹40 lakh and ₹45 lakh.
The MG Magester is claimed to be the tallest, widest, and longest SUV in its segment. It comes in four colour options and two seating layouts.
Exterior Design
The MG Magester features a bold Matrix-inspired front grille, stylish LED DRLs, and a split headlamp setup that gives it a strong road presence.
At the rear, the SUV has a rugged design with dual exhaust tips and faux skid plates.
Its muscular appearance is enhanced by large alloy wheels, a sculpted bonnet, flared wheel arches, and blacked-out pillars.
Interior and Features
Inside the cabin, the MG Magester offers several premium features. It comes with multi-mode massaging seats that also have ventilation.

and Snow. The SUV also gets a triple differential lock and has a water-wading capacity of 810 mm.
