The Indian Railways’ RailOne app just got a major upgrade.
A new feature called “RailMadad” lets passengers register complaints online about trains or railway stations quickly and easily.
Whether it’s a dirty coach, faulty AC, or poor food quality, you can now report issues directly from your mobile in minutes—using a video, audio, or photo.

What is the RailOne App?
The RailOne app is a mobile application developed by Indian Railways.
Much like IRCTC, it allows users to book train tickets online.
But it’s not just about tickets—you can also:
Book general or platform tickets
Access Waves OTT content
File railway-related complaints
With RailOne, passengers now have a one-stop solution for train travel and service feedback.
Introducing the RailMadad Feature
RailMadad is a feature designed to help passengers report problems quickly.
You can access it directly from the home page of the RailOne app with a single click.
When submitting a complaint:
Your video, audio, or image file should not exceed 5MB
You can choose whether the complaint is about a train or station
A detailed description box is provided for explaining your issue
How to File a Complaint
Install the RailOne app from the Play Store or App Store if you haven’t already.
Register in the app or log in using your IRCTC account.
On the main page, click the Rail Help option (marked with a red logo).
Upload your complaint via video, audio, or image.
Select the type of problem and provide details.
Click Submit.
Use the Track option at the top right to see the status of your complaint.
What Can You Complain About?
You can report issues such as:
Dirty coaches or toilets
AC not working
Food quality problems
Overcharging for food
Bedroll or blanket issues
Train running late
Water supply problems
Emergency medical help
Passengers can also provide suggestions and feedback to improve railway services via the Suggestions and Feedback option in RailMadad.
