OPPO is all set to refresh its popular Reno lineup in India.

The brand has confirmed that the new OPPO Reno 15 series will launch on January 8, bringing major upgrades in camera, design, and durability.

This time, OPPO is introducing three models to suit different users.

Here’s a simplified and easy-to-read look at what the Reno 15 series offers.

OPPO Reno 15 Series Launch Details

The OPPO Reno 15 lineup will include three smartphones: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini.

The highlight of the series is its strong focus on camera performance, premium design, and AI-powered features.

The Reno 15 Pro and Pro Mini come with a powerful 200MP main camera, while the standard Reno 15 offers a balanced camera setup aimed at everyday users.

Camera Upgrades Across the Lineup

OPPO has clearly focused on photography this year.

The Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini feature a 200MP primary camera, supported by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens with up to 3.5x optical zoom.

Both models also support optical image stabilisation and 4K HDR video recording at 60fps from all cameras, including the front camera.

The standard Reno 15 comes with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom.

It also includes a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

New Design and Better Durability

The Reno 15 series introduces OPPO’s new HoloFusion technology.

This creates a subtle 3D effect on the glass back, with a soft glow around the camera module when light hits it at certain angles.

All three models feature OPPO’s Armour Body and come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

OPPO has also added a platinum-coated USB port to improve corrosion resistance.

AI Features and Editing Tools

OPPO is bringing AI Editor 3.0 to the Reno 15 series.

This includes features like AI Portrait Glow, AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo, and AI Motion Eraser.

The new Pop-Out feature lets users combine photos or motion shots to create images where the subject appears to come out of the frame.

Video Editing 2.0 allows on-device editing with trimming, speed control, transitions, and beat-based edits.

Display and Performance Highlights

The Reno 15 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits brightness.

The Reno 15 Pro gets a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with ultra-thin bezels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness.

The Reno 15 Pro Mini offers a compact option with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and equally high brightness levels.

All three phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, with the Pro Mini also expected to have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 variant.

Battery, Charging, and Software

The Reno 15 packs a 6,200mAh battery, while both Pro models feature a larger 6,500mAh battery.

All devices support up to 80W fast charging.

The entire lineup runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android, offering the latest software experience from OPPO.

Final Thoughts

With flagship-level cameras, premium design, strong durability ratings, and smart AI tools, the OPPO Reno 15 series looks ready to challenge competitors in the mid-to-premium smartphone segment.

Whether you prefer a compact phone or a feature-packed camera device, OPPO seems to have covered all bases with this launch.
