This feature is useful for travelers who are not fully sure about their travel plans. If the flight you are booking is eligible, Paytm Checkin offers an optional add-on of ₹99 at the time of booking. By choosing this option, canceling your ticket later becomes much simpler.
When you book a flight through the Paytm Checkin app or website, the ₹99 cancellation option appears on the checkout page. This option is completely optional and is shown only for eligible flights.
Easy Ticket Cancellation for Just Rs 99
If you select this option by paying ₹99 in advance, it applies only to that specific booking. This helps you avoid airline cancellation penalties and complicated refund rules if you need to cancel the ticket later.
Cancel Your Ticket Directly from the App
If your travel plans change, you do not need to contact the airline or go through different cancellation policies. You can cancel your eligible ticket directly through the Paytm Checkin app. Once canceled, the refund process starts automatically.
Offers and Discounts Are Separate
Any seasonal offers or bank discounts available on Paytm are separate from the ₹99 cancellation feature. So, while booking, make sure to check the final page to confirm whether the ₹99 option has been added.
Is This Feature Worth It?
If your travel plans are fully confirmed, you may not need this option. However, if there is even a small chance of plan changes, paying ₹99 upfront can be a low-cost, simple, and stress-free solution.
