HD Fire Protect IPO opens for subscription on October 13, 2026, giving investors an opportunity to bid for shares in the fire protection equipment manufacturer.

The Rs 712.31 crore public issue has a price band of Rs 258 to Rs 271 per share, with a minimum application size of 55 shares.

The IPO will remain open until October 15, 2026. Investors planning to apply should check the minimum investment requirement, allotment schedule and issue structure before making a decision.

HD Fire Protect IPO Price Band and Lot Size

The HD Fire Protect IPO is a book-built public issue with a total size of Rs 712.31 crore. The company has fixed the price band at Rs 258 to Rs 271 per equity share, while the face value of each share is Rs 5.

Retail investors must apply for a minimum of 55 shares. At the upper end of the price band, one lot requires an investment of Rs 14,905, excluding any applicable charges.

Investors can bid for additional shares in multiples of 55. However, the final allotment depends on demand for the issue and the allocation process.

The issue is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders. This means the shares are being sold by current shareholders rather than issued as fresh shares to raise capital for the company.

HD Fire Protect IPO Important Dates

The IPO will remain open for three days, from October 13 to October 15, 2026. After the bidding period closes, the company is expected to finalise the basis of allotment on October 16.

Investors who receive an allotment can expect the shares to be credited to their demat accounts according to the issue schedule. Refunds for unsuccessful applicants are expected to begin on October 19.

The shares are tentatively scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on October 21, 2026. These dates are subject to the final issue schedule and any official changes.

Investors should keep their application details available and check the registrar’s official platform for allotment updates after the bidding process ends.

What Does the Offer for Sale Mean for Investors?

Since the HD Fire Protect IPO consists entirely of an offer for sale, the company will not receive the IPO proceeds from the shares being sold.

Instead, the proceeds will go to the existing shareholders selling their holdings, subject to applicable issue expenses and adjustments.

An offer for sale allows existing shareholders to sell part or all of their eligible holdings through a public issue.

Investors should therefore distinguish between a company raising fresh capital for business expansion and existing shareholders selling their shares.

The IPO provides an opportunity for investors to participate in the company’s listed equity, but the issue structure alone does not determine whether the investment is suitable.

Before applying, investors should review the company’s financial performance, business operations, valuation and risk factors disclosed in its offer documents.

The issue price and demand for shares should be assessed alongside these details rather than considered in isolation.

What Investors Should Check Before Applying

Investors should first confirm that their application meets the minimum lot-size requirement and that sufficient funds are available.

At the upper price band, one lot of 55 shares costs Rs 14,905 before applicable charges.

They should also review the offer documents to understand the company’s revenue, profitability, business risks and use of the issue proceeds.

Since this is an OFS, the proceeds will go to selling shareholders rather than directly into the company’s operations.

Grey market premium figures, when reported, are unofficial and can change quickly.

They do not guarantee listing gains or indicate the actual price at which the shares will trade after listing.

The HD Fire Protect IPO closes on October 15, 2026. Investors should make their decisions after reviewing the official disclosures and considering their own financial goals and risk tolerance.
