Google has introduced a new Pixel Upgrade Program in India to make buying and upgrading Pixel smartphones easier and more affordable.
The programme combines no-cost EMI financing with a built-in upgrade option, allowing users to switch to a newer Pixel model without the hassle of closing their existing loan.
How the Pixel Upgrade Program Works
Under this programme, customers can buy select Pixel smartphones on a 24-month no-cost EMI plan, with monthly payments starting at Rs 3,333.
After completing at least nine EMI payments, users become eligible to upgrade to a new Pixel device while continuing with the same EMI amount.
If the upgrade is done between the 9th and 15th EMI, Cashify credits an amount equal to the remaining loan balance directly to the customer’s bank account.
This automatically closes the existing loan without any pre-closure charges.
The customer is then enrolled in a fresh 24-month no-cost EMI plan for the new Pixel smartphone.
Google has also confirmed an assured buyback under the programme.
The phone can be upgraded regardless of its physical condition, as long as it powers on and passes basic functional checks.
Eligible Pixel Models and Availability
At launch, the Pixel Upgrade Program includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Customers must enroll in the programme through the Cashify website within 30 days of buying their Pixel phone from a participating retail store.
The programme is being offered in partnership with Cashify, Bajaj Finance Ltd., and HDFC Bank.
It is available at select retail stores across India and will remain active until June 30, 2026.
Customers enrolling in the programme can also receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs 7,000 from Cashify when trading in an existing smartphone.
Additional Benefits for Pixel Buyers
Google is also offering bundled service trials with new Pixel purchases under this programme.
Buyers of the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold get one year of Google AI Pro, six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium.
Those purchasing the Pixel 10 receive six months of Google One Premium (2TB storage), six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium.
With flexible payments, easy upgrades, and added service benefits, Google’s Pixel Upgrade Program aims to make owning a Pixel phone more convenient for Indian customers.
