After the Bihar Assembly elections, the Chief Minister’s Pledge Scheme is becoming increasingly popular.
Thousands of young people are applying for internships under this initiative.
So far, more than 70,000 applications have been submitted.
Big companies are also showing interest, making the competition tougher.
Since only 5,000 youth will be selected this financial year, applying early is important.
Currently, documents of around 450 applicants are being verified.
With internship slots filling fast, delaying your application could mean waiting longer.
Over 400 companies, both from Bihar and across India, have agreed to provide internships under this scheme.
Officials estimate that the target of 5,000 internships will be completed by January or February next year.
Choose Your Preferred Companies
According to the Labor Resources Department, applicants can select three companies of their choice while filling out the form.
Companies will then choose candidates based on their requirements.
Internships will last for at least three months and can extend up to one year.
Monthly Stipend Under the Scheme
The stipend amount depends on your educational qualification:
Class 12 pass: ₹4,000 per month
Diploma or ITI holders: ₹5,000 per month
Graduate or higher: ₹6,000 per month
If you intern with a company based in Bihar, you will receive an extra ₹2,000 for three months.
