The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched a new service that allows people to book Namo Bharat trains for private events, pre-wedding shoots, media projects and short creative activities.
Known for their high speed and modern design, Namo Bharat trains will now double as a premium venue for unique celebrations and professional shoots.
Under this new plan, individuals, wedding planners, photographers and production teams can book one or more train coaches.
Bookings can be made for both stationary trains and running trains, depending on the requirement.
NCRTC has also opened a mock-up coach at the Duhai Depot, giving teams the freedom to create detailed setups without affecting regular services.
Booking Starts at Rs 5,000 Per Hour
Bookings for Namo Bharat trains start at Rs 5,000 per hour, making it an affordable option for exclusive access.
Organisers will also get an extra 30 minutes before and after their reserved time for decoration, equipment setup and clean-up.
Customisation is allowed, but all setups must follow NCRTC’s safety guidelines.
Events can take place only between 6 am and 11 pm to ensure regular passengers are not disturbed.
The corporation has also issued specific rules for advertisements, documentaries, movies and commercial shoots, explaining safety measures and station usage protocols.
Full Supervision for Safety and Smooth Operations
All activities held inside the trains or stations will be monitored by NCRTC staff and security teams.
This is to ensure safety, protect the infrastructure and maintain proper procedures.
NCRTC says the new initiative is part of its broader plan to allow short-term bookings of stations and trains for creative and commercial purposes.
This unique offering is expected to attract people across the Delhi–Meerut corridor, especially around key stations such as Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad and Meerut South.
