Good news for Aadhaar cardholders! The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made it simple to update your Aadhaar address online.
You no longer need to visit a service center for this process.
UIDAI says this step will help more people use digital services across India.
The best part? You can update your address for free until July 14, 2026.
However, if you want to change other details like your name, date of birth, mobile number, or biometrics (fingerprint, iris, or photo) — you’ll still have to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
