Hyundai Motor India has launched the second-generation Hyundai Venue in India, starting at Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
This all-new compact SUV is a complete model update and replaces the outgoing version that has been on sale since 2019.
Currently, Hyundai has revealed prices for only three petrol variants – HX2, HX4, and HX5, all powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa MPi engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The introductory prices are valid for deliveries till December 31, 2025. The 2025 Venue N Line, launching alongside the standard model, will have its price announced later.
Variant-wise Price (Ex-showroom, Introductory)
Venue HX2 – Rs 7.90 lakh
Venue HX4 – Rs 8.80 lakh
Venue HX5 – Rs 9.15 lakh
Bigger, Feature-Rich Second-Generation Model
The 2025 Hyundai Venue is larger than before, measuring 3,995mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,665mm tall, with a 2,520mm wheelbase—48mm taller, 30mm wider, and 20mm longer than the previous model.
Design highlights include a dark chrome grille, quad-beam LED headlamps, twin horn LED DRLs, horizon LED positioning lamps, bridge-type roof rails, sculpted lines, muscular wheel arches, and an in-glass ‘Venue’ emblem.
It comes in six monotone and two dual-tone color options, including new shades Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire.
Dual-tone combos are Hazel Blue with Abyss Black roof and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.
New Cabin Layout and Connected Features
The interior features Hyundai’s H-architecture cabin with a dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey finish and leatherette upholstery.
Highlights include a coffee-table style center console, Moon White ambient lighting, terrazzo-textured crash pad, D-cut steering wheel, and a curved panoramic display (12.3-inch infotainment + 12.3-inch digital cluster).
The SUV introduces Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) powered by NVIDIA, offering over-the-air (OTA) updates for 20 controllers, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, built-in navigation, Bose 8-speaker sound, 70+ connected car features, and 400+ voice commands in 5 languages.
Comfort features include 4-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, rear AC vents, rear sunshades, cooled glovebox, and wireless phone charging.
Higher trims offer drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and traction control modes (Sand, Mud, Snow).
Engine and Transmission Options
Currently, only the 1.2-litre petrol variant price is available, which produces 83PS and 114.7Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Other options include:
1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol: 120PS, 172Nm; 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, with idle stop-start.
1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel: 116PS, 250Nm; 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
Paddle shifters are available on select trims. The Venue N Line comes with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol in both 6MT and 7DCT configurations.
Safety and ADAS Features
The new Venue offers Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS with 16 driver-assist functions, including forward collision avoidance (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, junctions, oncoming traffic), lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, smart cruise control with stop & go, and parking collision avoidance.
Its body structure uses 71% high-strength steel. Over 65 safety features are available, with 33 standard across all trims, including 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, all-disc brakes, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, surround view monitor, rollover sensor, and seatbelt reminders.
Hyundai Venue N Line
The N Line features the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with N6 and N10 trims, offered in 6MT and 7DCT.
Styling highlights include red bumper accents, dark chrome N grille, sequential LED indicators, 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, red brake calipers, and twin-tip exhaust.
Interior features are black-red theme, N-branded steering wheel and seats, metal pedals, and red ambient lighting.
It also has 12.3-inch infotainment + cluster, Bose sound system, surround view monitor, and Level 2 ADAS with 21 safety functions.
Positioning and Rivals
The 2025 Hyundai Venue competes in the sub-4-metre compact SUV segment against Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kushaq.
With upgraded interiors, advanced connectivity, and ADAS safety, Hyundai aims to strengthen its presence in this competitive segment.
While only the entry-level petrol variant prices are announced, prices for turbo petrol, diesel trims, and the N Line will be revealed soon.
