On Monday, September 15, 2025, Flipkart-backed travel booking platform Cleartrip announced a new feature called ‘Visa Denial Cover’ for all international flight bookings made through its platform.
This announcement comes just ahead of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2025 sale, one of the biggest festive season events for the e-commerce giant.
The offer applies to all customers booking international flights and is aimed at reducing the stress often associated with international travel.
Many travellers hesitate to book flights early, worried about what happens if their visa gets rejected.
With this new Visa Denial Cover, Cleartrip assures customers a full refund on their flight ticket if their visa is denied, helping them book with confidence.
“With the Visa Denial Cover, we are addressing a major concern travellers have when planning international trips.
This is not just about refunds; it’s about giving peace of mind and making travel planning exciting instead of stressful,” said Manjari Singhal, Chief Business and Growth Officer at Cleartrip.

No extra cost: The Visa Denial Cover is completely free for all international flight bookings.
Visa type: The cover only applies to travellers flying on tourist visas to countries outside India.
Who can apply: Only Indian citizens are eligible for this offer.
No age limits: There is no age restriction, as long as the other conditions are met.
Fare types: The cover is valid on both fully and partially refundable tickets.
Flights covered: It applies to all international flights that depart from India.
Cancellation rule: To use the cover, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight.

As part of its flash sale during the Big Billion Days, Cleartrip is offering domestic flights starting at just ₹999 and up to 20% off on international flights.

These include domestic flights from ₹999* and 20% off* on all international flights,” the company said in its press release.
Cleartrip also announced it has expanded its hotel listings from 20,000 to over 80,000 properties, covering 2-star to 5-star categories, to give customers more options.
Another festive offer includes the ‘Child Flies Free’ deal, where if at least three people are travelling—including one child or infant—the child’s fare is free.
