If you are a fan of Royal Enfield bikes, here’s some exciting news. After the central government revised GST rates, the prices of two-wheelers and four-wheelers have dropped significantly.
Following this, Royal Enfield has also announced that it will reduce the prices of some of its motorcycles. Let’s take a closer look at which bikes are affected and how.
GST Benefits for Bikes Under 350cc
Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will pass the full benefit of the GST cut to its customers in India.
This will apply to models like the Hunter 350, Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Goan Classic 350.
The company has not revealed the exact new prices yet but said they will be announced when the new GST rates take effect on September 22, 2025.
The Government of India has introduced a new GST slab for two-wheelers: all models under 350cc will now attract 18% GST instead of 28%, making these bikes more affordable.
Price Increase for Bikes Above 350cc
On the other hand, Royal Enfield motorcycles with engine capacity above 350cc will become more expensive.
GST rates for these bikes have been raised from 28% to 40%, along with an additional 3% cess.
This means bikes like the Himalayan 450, Guerilla 450, and the entire 650cc range will see a significant price increase.
CEO’s Statement
Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan said that the new GST reform will make motorcycles under 350cc more accessible and appealing to first-time buyers.
He added that the company is happy to pass on the full GST benefit directly to consumers, ensuring they get the advantage of the revised rates.
