New Delhi: The Income Tax Department has released the Excel utility for ITR-6, just six days after launching the ITR-5 utility.
What is ITR-6?
ITR-6 is the income tax return form used by companies, except those claiming exemption under Section 11 (mainly charitable or religious organizations).
In addition, the department now allows filing of updated returns for Assessment Years 2021–22 and 2022–23 using ITR-3 and ITR-4.
Previously, the offline and online utilities for ITR-3 were made available on July 30, while the tools for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 were already released earlier.
