With Blend, you can now create a shared and personalized reel feed with a friend.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri shared the update, saying, “We are introducing Blend — a new way to connect with friends through DMs.”
This feature lets you and your friend enjoy a customized feed of Reels together, offering a fun and interactive experience.
How to Use the Blend Feature
To start using Blend, go to your friend’s inbox and select the Blend option. You can also use it in group chats, but everyone in the group must join in to make it work.
Think of it as a private space where you and your friends can view and enjoy your favorite Reels together.
The feed updates regularly with new content. When someone in the Blend reacts to a Reel, Instagram sends a notification.
You can also reply to Reels within this shared space, making it a fresh and fun way to interact on the platform.
