The MG Windsor is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. The prices of all variants have increased by about ₹50,000.
The old price of the Excite variant was ₹13.50 lakh, but it is now ₹14 lakh.
The Exclusive variant’s price has risen from ₹14.50 lakh to ₹15 lakh. The Essence variant now costs ₹16 lakh, up from ₹15.50 lakh.
Battery Subscription Price Changes
The price of the battery subscription plan for the Windsor has also gone up. Earlier priced at ₹3.50 lakh, the new subscription cost is ₹3.90 lakh.
As a result, the new ex-showroom prices for the variants are as follows: Excite is now ₹9.99 lakh, Exclusive is ₹10.99 lakh, and Essence is ₹11.99 lakh.
Demand for the Exclusive Variant
The Windsor EV comes in three variants: Excite (base), Exclusive (mid), and Essence (top). Among these, the Exclusive variant is the most popular, with 60% of customers choosing it. Excite has a 15% demand, while Essence accounts for 25%.
Additionally, the car offers a battery subscription plan, but only 10% of customers have opted for it. The remaining 90% have purchased the car with the battery included.
Features and Comfort
The MG Windsor offers a variety of features for comfort and convenience.
It includes a center armrest with a USB charging port, rear AC vents, cup holders, wireless phone mirroring, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, climate control, connected car technology, reclining rear seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety Features and Other Highlights
Safety is a priority in the Windsor, with six airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and a full LED light setup.
The car also includes a noise controller, Jio apps, and connectivity in multiple languages. The rear seat can recline electrically up to 135 degrees, adding to the comfort.
The prices of the Windsor variants now range from ₹13.50 lakh to ₹16 lakh, making it a strong competitor against models like the Tata Curve EV and Mahindra XUV400 in its segment.
