BSNL launches New Services and Logo

On Tuesday, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a government telecom company, introduced seven new services, including a SIM kiosk.

The Telecom Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, launched these services and also unveiled a new logo for the company.

New Services Offered by BSNL

National Wi-Fi Roaming for Fiber Internet Customers: BSNL has launched a national Wi-Fi roaming service for its fiber internet users.

This allows customers to enjoy high-speed internet at BSNL hotspots without extra charges.

New Fiber-Based TV Service: The company has announced a new fiber-based TV service that offers over 500 live channels

and pay TV options, available at no extra cost for fiber internet customers.

SIM Kiosk for Easy Management: BSNL is making it easier to manage SIM cards with automated kiosks.

These kiosks will be available 24/7, allowing users to buy, upgrade, or switch their SIM cards easily.

India’s First Direct-to-Device Service: BSNL has launched India’s first direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity solution, which combines satellite

and mobile networks. This service is designed for emergencies and remote areas.

Spam-Blocking Solution: To enhance security, BSNL introduced a spam-blocking solution that filters out phishing attempts

and malicious SMS messages, ensuring a safer communication environment for users.

Public Protection and Disaster Release Solution: BSNL launched a secure and dedicated network for real-time disaster response and public safety, called the Public Protection and Disaster Release Solution.

Private 5G Network for Mining Operations: In collaboration with C-DAC, BSNL introduced a private 5G network specifically for mining operations.

This network provides high-speed, low-latency connectivity in underground and open-pit mines.

New Logo and Future Plans

BSNL also unveiled a new logo before launching its pan-India 4G services. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

and Union Minister of State for Communications Pemmasani Chandra Shekhar presented the new logo in New Delhi.

The updated logo features a globe that has changed from grey to orange and includes a map of India. The colors of the arrow have shifted from red and blue to white and green.

Affordable Services: BSNL Chairman, ND Robert Ravi, stated that there will be no increase in tariffs in the near future, emphasizing the company’s commitment to keeping customers happy and maintaining trust.
