Google has introduced its first foldable smartphone to the Indian market.
Last year, the company released its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, but it was only available in Europe and the US.
Google has introduced its foldable smartphone, named the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The phone includes the same AI features as the other Pixel 9 series phones and is powered by the Tensor G4 processor.
Price of Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The Google foldable phone is priced at ₹1,72,999 in India and is available in one storage option: 16GB RAM and 256GB.
It is available in India in two color options: Obsidian and Porcelain.
The phone’s first sale will take place on August 22 on Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
Pre-booking will begin on August 14.

Features of Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold features an 8-inch LTPO OLED Super Actual Flex foldable display and a 6.3-inch OLED Actual display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display can reach up to 2700 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
This Google foldable phone is powered by the Tensor G4 chipset and supports up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It also includes Gemini AI-based features like Magic Eraser, Best Take, Photo Unblur, and Night Sight.
This foldable phone features a triple camera setup: a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera.
It supports 5X optical and 20X super resolution zoom. The phone also has a 10MP selfie camera on both the cover display and the main display.
This Google foldable smartphone has a 4,650mAh battery and supports 45W wired and Qi wireless charging.
It runs on Android 14 and includes both a fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature for security.
