Apple releases Final Cut Camera App for iPhone on App Store (Check Fearures)

The Final Cut camera app for Apple users is now available on the App Store.

Users can download the app on both iOS and iPadOS. Additionally, Final Cut Pro is now available for Mac 10.8 and iPad 2.

Apple claims the updated video editing software will offer twice the rendering speed and up to four times more streams of ProRes RAW compared to the M1.

Final Cut Camera and Final Cut Pro are companion apps for the iPad 2. Final Cut Camera is designed to support the live multicam feature.

Apple previewed these apps for the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air at its Let’s Loose event last month and announced that these devices would be available later this year.

Features available in Final Cut Camera App

In this app, video streams can be recorded from different angles using live multicam during the shoot.

Additionally, after installing the app on an iPhone or iPad, camera settings can be controlled wirelessly for the feed.

The Final Cut Camera app can also function as a standalone video recording app on the iPhone and iPad.

With the Final Cut Camera and an iPhone 15 Pro, you can record video directly to an external solid-state drive (SSD).

Users can import video clips recorded with the Final Cut Camera into Final Cut Pro for Mac.

You can also change the settings manually

The Final Cut camera app offers users manual control over several settings, including resolution, frame rate, codecs, exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and color temperature.

Additionally, for certain features such as recording on external storage, you’ll need to use an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max.
