Motorola users can now enjoy Android 14. The company launched the Motorola Edge 40 Neo in India in September last year, but it originally came with Android 13,
which disappointed many users. They had been requesting an update for a long time, and now, Motorola has listened.
In a move to please its customers, Motorola has started rolling out the Android 14 update for the Edge 40 Neo.
This update brings the latest features to the device. The version number for this update is U1TM34.107_34_3, and it is 1.4 GB in size.
New Features with Android 14 Update
After updating to Android 14, users will enjoy several new features. One of the notable additions is selective media sharing, which allows you to access specific photos or videos without navigating through the entire media library.
Additionally, any changes related to data sharing will notify users, increasing transparency about apps that share location data with third parties.
The update also includes improved Bluetooth alert notifications and a centralized platform for storing health data. Users will have more control over sharing health data and customizable settings for incoming alerts.
Gradual Rollout and Potential Issues
While the arrival of Android 14 is exciting, it may bring some issues. Users might experience delayed notifications from Messenger and WhatsApp,
and the phone could become hot during use. Therefore, it’s advisable to be cautious before updating. The company is gradually rolling out Android 14, but users can manually update their phones by going to the settings.
