Zomato Introduces Order New Scheduling Feature (See Details)

Zomato is widely used by many people across the country to order their favorite food. Recently, the company launched a new feature that allows users to schedule their orders in advance.

With this feature, users can plan their food orders up to two days ahead of time. This new service was announced by Zomato’s founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal.

Currently, this service is available in seven major cities, including Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Jaipur.

CEO Announces the New Feature

Deepinder Goyal shared the news about this new service on the social media platform X. In his post, he said, “Plan your food better by ordering up to two days in advance, and we will deliver it on time.”

Additionally, he mentioned that the company is considering expanding this service to more restaurants and cities in the future.

It’s worth noting that Zomato recently discontinued its inter-city food delivery service and its hyperlocal delivery service, Extreme, which were launched in October last year.

Zomato’s Business Growth

Zomato’s main food delivery business remains strong. In the first quarter of this year, the company’s revenue in the food delivery segment increased by 41%, reaching ₹1,942 crore.

Meanwhile, the revenue from Zomato’s quick commerce division, Blinkit, grew to ₹942 crore.

This shows that even with the closure of some services, Zomato’s food delivery business is growing rapidly.
