Volkswagen India has unleashed two formidable SUVs onto the Indian market with the launch of the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport variants.

These two new additions to the powerful and beloved Taigun lineup come with a host of exterior and interior enhancements, promising an elevated driving experience.

Unveiled in March:

Both the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport were first unveiled by Volkswagen in March, alongside the debut of their inaugural electric car, the ID.4.

Garnering a coveted 5-star rating from Global NCAP underscores the exceptional safety standards of these vehicles, instilling confidence in drivers and passengers alike.

Powertrain Specifications:

The Taigun GT Line is equipped with a potent 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, available with both 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmissions.

On the other hand, the Taigun GT Plus Sport boasts a robust 1.5-liter engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission.

The GT Plus Sport variant impresses with 19 exterior and 15 interior features,

while the GT Line offers 16 exterior and 13 interior features.

In the Taigun GT Plus Sport, striking red accents adorn various exterior elements such as the GT logo, LED headlamps,

and brake callipers, complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels.

ambient red lighting, aluminum pedals, and GT badging, among others.

The Taigun GT Line’s manual transmission variant starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 14.08 lakh,

For the Taigun GT Plus Sport, the manual transmission variant begins at Rs 18.53 lakh, with the automatic transmission priced at Rs 19.73 lakh, ex-showroom.
