Tata Sierra Legend Series has been launched in India with prices starting at ₹11.99 lakh and going up to ₹19.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
The new series is available with petrol and diesel engine options and brings new variants and additional features to the Sierra lineup.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Gets New Features
The Tata Sierra Legend Series includes variants such as Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. The Pure L variant gets 17-inch alloy wheels, leatherette interiors, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-speaker audio system.
The Pure L (O) adds a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. This variant costs ₹50,000 more than the Pure L. The Pure+ L variant gets features such as ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, a thigh support extender and Boss Mode.
The top-spec Adventure+ L variant comes with the more powerful Hyperion turbo-petrol automatic option.
Engine and Safety Features
The Tata Sierra Legend Series continues with the existing engine options. These include a 1.5-litre Revotron petrol engine, a 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre Cryojet diesel engine.
Tata has also equipped the entire Legend Series with key safety features as standard. These include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program and disc brakes on all four wheels, including the base variant.
More Variants for Sierra Buyers
The Tata Sierra Legend Series adds 18 new variants to the lineup, taking the total number of engine-transmission-trim combinations to 42.
The new variants also reduce the price gap between some trims. Earlier, the difference between two trims could be as high as ₹1.50 lakh. With the new lineup, customers can move to a higher variant by paying around ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 more, depending on the variant.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Targets Festive Demand
The Tata Sierra was introduced in November 2025, while deliveries started in January 2026. The SUV initially received more than 70,000 bookings within 24 hours.
The Sierra recorded sales of 9,003 units in March 2026. However, monthly sales slowed in the following months, with 5,622 units sold in August 2026.
After introducing the Jubilee Edition in July, Tata Motors has now launched the Legend Series ahead of the festive season. The new variants and additional features are aimed at giving Sierra buyers more choices across different price points.
