Tata Motors, a leading car manufacturer in the country, has finally launched its much-anticipated car model, Tata Altroz CNG. The starting price for this car is Rs 7.55 lakh (excluding showroom charges).
The Altroz iCNG will be available in six different variants, ranging from Rs 7.55 lakh to Rs 10.55 lakh (excluding showroom charges).

After much anticipation, Tata Altroz CNG, the most awaited CNG car in the country, has finally been launched. The launch took place on May 22nd.

The Altroz CNG comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and offers impressive mileage.
Noteworthy features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, sunroof, wireless phone charger, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking sensor camera.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, expressed that the introduction of Altroz iCNG strengthens Tata Motors’ “New Forever” range and contributes to the growth of passenger cars.
The Altroz iCNG prioritizes safety with features like a micro-switch to turn off the car during refueling and thermal event protection, which cuts off the CNG supply to the engine and exhaust gas as a precautionary measure.
Our Thoughts
The launch of Altroz in CNG Variant is very commendable step from Tata Motors. With rapid increase in Petrol and Diesel Prices, CNG is the second best option. Electric vehicles being third due to non-availability of fast chargers and slow charging time.
This car will cater to the middle class Indians who are more reliable on cars and are traveling heavily. This car with all the existing features of Altroz and with cheap fuel prices of CNG will surely make boom in Market.
